VENETIAN PRINCESS – PARODY EXTAORDINAIRE

”Venetian Princess” found the career of her dreams posting her parody videos on YouTube.

Stardust ….Jodie Rivera, the real artist behind “Venetian Princess,” started posting videos in the early days of YouTube. Her creative clips soon caught the attention of a multitude of viewers.

When Google bought YouTube in 2007, she turned her hobby into a career as she started to earn a living doing what she liked.

Her video parodies grew in popularity, making her the “#1 most subscribed female performer in the world.” One of her famous parodies was “7 things” based on the 2008 hit by Miley Cyrus, now with more than 20 million views.

Some of Jodie’s great soundtracks were created in collaboration with Steve Goldstein “hizEd”, a talented musician who composes and arranges music and also plays guitar in the band “The Unattended.”

It is not only about making fun of a popular song but about creating an alternative version with a fresh message, that may sound as well as the original. Jodie’s voice is so rich that some of her versions could easily compete with the popular ones as in the parody of “Edge of Glory.”

Find her videos on her YouTube channel and more info on her website www.vprincess.com.
